“Jon Lehrer’s delightful Bridge and Tunnel is a playful hymn to the sidewalks                            of the outer boroughs. It’s a first rate sample of American vernacular dance,                              a genre whose distinguished heritage includes Jerome Robbins’s Fancy                                    Free, Agnes DeMille’s Rodeo, and Gene Kelley’s ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ solo.”

Chukchi

Chukchi  is our tribute to the beautiful people of Anadyr, Russia. In 2014 we embarked on our third tour to Russia, sponsored by the US Consulate, Vladivostok. This tour brought us to the easternmost city of Anadyr, in the Chukotka Region. While there we were treated to a performance by Eygryon , The Russian State Chukchi-Eskimo Song and Dance Ensemble. Their performance was awe-inspiring and full of life as they shared their culture and history with us. After the performance, they presented us with their original music as a gift. Out of that once in a lifetime experience came Chukchi, our heart felt thank you to Egryon, Anadyr, and the US Consulate, Vladivostok.
